Spread technology skills to poverty-stricken areas. CTEP Cambodia Education Center has added a number of applied computer science programs. Nine education centers are planned for development in 2017.
Students from remote villages can learn basic computer skills, including internet searching, sending and receiving emails, video conferencing, social media networking and other related computer programs. Some of the laptops are too old to be upgraded and are unable to connect to the Internet. As such, the center still needs to upgrade the computer software and fundraise for new equipment.
This program is being carried out with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals to promote 17 goals to transform the world.
