The Sustainable Development Goals Fund (SDG Fund) emphasizes the importance of public-private partnerships. Many STUF projects such as the Syrian Refugee Project, Hope Clinic in Uganda, and job training/placement in Cambodia are carried out through public-private partnerships.
At the same time, though, it is important for NGOs and stakeholders to raise their voices for national budget allocation. SDG Fund sponsors programmes in 22 countries and is improving the lives of more than 3.5 million people. Approximately 70% of joint programme participants are women and girls.
Recently, SDG Fund and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) hosted “Prosperity in Action: Results from the Sustainable Development Goals Fund,” an event held at the United Nations.
STUF is glad to help more people in need through partnership work with SDG Fund.
