“Zero Hunger” project in Peru

STUF United Fund works with affiliate NGO “HOOP: Helping Overcome Obstacles Peru” to provide education classes and health programs in underprivileged communities. At the HLPF, UN World Food Programme highlighted the “Zero Hunger” project in Peru.

The “Zero Hunger” project in Peru works on SDG Goal #2: end hunger by 2030. 23% of Peru’s 31 million population live in poverty, and 46% of Peruvian children under 3 suffer from anaemia.

Peruvian celebrity chefs contribute to the “Zero Hunger” project by demonstrating delicious and affordable homemade meals. The project also works with the government and private sector on social programs to educate children and adults about nutrition.

STUF is glad to help more people in need through partnership work with HOOP.
